| Description | Metylan Ovalit TM is a solvent-free adhesive based on polyvinyl acetate in aqueous dispersion. Metylan Ovalit TM adhesive is ideal for installing most wall coverings with paper, textile or non-woven backing, on normally absorbent substrates. It is particularly suitable for textiles (woven, needle-punched, thread-to-thread, flocked/imitation suede, fibre-based velvets, jute, coated-backed fabrics, fabrics on fleece), glass cloth to be painted, PVC coverings (vinyl coverings with paper, textile or non-woven backing, expanded vinyl coverings on woven/non-woven polyester or mineral support). It is also suitable for full bonding of wide-width wall coverings with foam backing, on the manufacturers' recommendations. Metylan Ovalit TM offers low consumption: 150 to 300 g/m². Its final setting is achieved after 24 to 48 hours. It has an open time of 20 to 30 min (depending on the temperature, ambient humidity and the degree of absorption of the support). It has an immediate hold and excellent adhesion, it becomes transparent after drying, offers very good glide and easy application.
