| Description | Tangit Uni-Lock provides instant sealing of plumbing threaded fittings on metal and plastic materials but also ensures the sealing of threaded fittings whether cylindrical or conical. Unlike traditional hemp thread and pipe threading paste which are messy and time consuming to prepare, the Tangit Uni-Lock thread sealant reel is incredibly quick and easy to use on metal and plastic materials. The thread sealants are also adjustable and removable, they fit between the threads of the pipes to obtain a strong adhesion and a better seal than a tape. Uni-Lock is designed for threaded fittings with a diameter of up to 4 inches for metals (steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, etc.) and 1.5 inches for plastics (PVC, PP, ABS, etc.). Can be used on cold water circuits (up to 16 bars, T° Immediate sealing – This sealing cord impregnated with a silicone-based solution is much simpler and quicker to use than plumbing tow and jointing paste. All types of circuits – this connection wire is equally suitable for gas networks (city gas, butane, propane, etc.) as for hot water/steam networks (up to 130°) and cold water. All materials – This wire for tubes can be used to make threaded connections up to 4 inches on metal pipes (steel, stainless steel, brass, etc.) and 1.5 inches on plastic pipes (PVC, PP, ABS, etc.). |
