Description RA-IN radiator valves are designed to work in conjunction with thermostatic heads to help achieve energy savings. RA-IN valve bodies can be used with all types of thermostatic elements in the Danfoss RA range, such as RA2000, RAX, RAW and Danfoss Eco™ and Danfoss Ally™ electronic heads, and with TWA-A electrothermal actuators. RA-IN radiator valves are designed for two-pipe heating systems. They are suitable for the Danfoss range of fittings. A complete range of compression fittings for PEX, AluPEX, copper and steel pipes is available. The radiator valves are supplied in the “N” position (fully open). RA-IN valves incorporate a kv factor limiter to pre-set the max. water flow rate. and are available with the following adjustment ranges: • RA-IN 10: kv = 0.05 - 0.56 m3 /h • RA-IN 15: kv = 0.058 - 0.73 m3 /h • RA-IN 20/25: kv = 0.14 - 1.04 m3 /h Each valve body is supplied with a white protective cap that can be used for manual regulation during construction phases. The protective cap must not be used as a manual closing device. A special manual closing device is available as an accessory. RA-IN valve bodies are made of brass with a nickel coating. The pressure rod of the stuffing box is made of chrome-plated steel and the O-ring is lubricated for life. The O-ring stuffing box can be replaced without draining the system. - Taps complying with European standard EN215 - The pre-setting range is from 1 to 4 then N. - The N position opens the tap fully, allowing draining or rinsing. - The N setting should be used in single-pipe installations. - Settings outside of 1 to 4 and N should be avoided. - Once the thermostatic head has been installed, the pre-setting cannot be accidentally changed.
