| Description | MANUFACTURING QUALITY The MOB group acquired the European leader in files and rasps, TALABOT, 30 years ago. The steel of the rasps is less carbon-rich (0.45%) for efficient work on soft materials. With each casting, MOB checks the chemical composition of the steels. Perfect mastery of quenching, a crucial operation for the quality of the cut, guarantees hardness of 53 HRC for the rasps. MOB rasps comply with standard NF E 75 001-75 002. Dimensions: the rasps are defined by their length (without the tang) in mm. The rasps can be used to work soft materials: aluminum, lead, plastic or of course wood. The finish of the rasps is measured in the number of bites per cm2. There are three types of stitching depending on the degree of finish you want to obtain: large stitching (1) for roughing out, medium stitching (2) for standard work and fine stitching (3) for finishing. Two-material handle: Polypropylene, resistance and relief allowing you to work with precision, and elastomer, flexible and comfortable - limits perspiration and heating of the hand. |
