| Description | Tangit Racorétanch Métal offers effective sealing of metal threaded fittings. This sealing resin ensures high-strength metal threaded fittings up to one and a half inches on pipes, valves, unions, elbows, etc. Unlike traditional hemp thread which is messy and takes a long time to prepare, this liquid resin is incredibly quick and easy to use on steel, copper, brass, bronze, nickel, cast iron and aluminum without the need for an activator. This product hardens quickly ensuring immediate sealing at 30 bars and maximum after 24 hours, it transforms into a solid material resistant to shocks, vibrations as well as most hot and cold water fluids, compressed air, fuel, cooling fluids, etc. After polymerization, it does not crumble, migrate or shrink. Its controlled resistance allows the disassembly and reuse of fittings. Fitting Sealing – For all metal threaded fittings up to 1 1/2 inches between pipes, valves, unions, elbows, pressure gauges, etc. All metallic materials – Resin applicable on brass, steel, copper, bronze, cast iron and aluminum fittings without the need for activator. Parts can still be disassembled with standard tools.
